A Shark Tank Contestant started a new business during the pandemic, name Souk + Sepia.

  • Business Uniqueness? Fusing African heritage into American silhouettes and designs.
  • Why They Need Me? Rebranding and finding a new marketing plan that aligns with business vision.
  • Problem & Challenge: No email marketing setup and only relied on social media platforms; Not listening to repeated customers and no marketing plan or budget in place. The team had problems finding connecting with current customers and creating attractive visual campaigns. Poor engagement from prospects which left many of them in the awareness stage of the marketing funnel.


Strategy & Solution:
  1. Design survey questions and interview customers.

  2. Arranged a focus group with real consumers on unreleased products.

  3. Researched google keywords and customers feedback

  4. Implemented on page optimization based on business hot words and customers words to increase organic impressions

  5. Once SEO began to pick up momentum, I utilized those key words for SEM and PPC.
